We at Work Is Progress believe that the improvement of living conditions passes through full social and labour integration.
We would like to remind you of this today, Monday 28 April, on the occasion of the World Day for Safety and Health at Work: creating valid opportunities for the future and fostering valuable relationships means offering those who face work difficulties the tools they need to build a solid, sustainable and dignified career path, which can guarantee better self-care.
Thanks to the excellent work carried out in recent months by our multidisciplinary team of 29 professionals active in the 42 municipalities and provinces of the 4 countries where we operate, namely Italy, Morocco, Côte d’Ivoire and El Salvador, we were able to support a high number of beneficiaries.
After 12 months of intervention in the field, the staff managed to place about 150 people in companies with contracts, internships or work bursaries, 374 are small entrepreneurs and 39 freelancers are supported with technical assistance. At the entrepreneurial level, 75,900 euros have been paid out to start-ups and strengthen micro-enterprises.
Our goal is to continue to expand our services, reaching more and more beneficiaries in the countries where we operate. We want to respond to the complex challenges that many people face on a daily basis by creating concrete tools for stable and lasting labour integration.
