Psycho-social support for job search/retention, job&career counseling, bureaucratic and regulatory guidance, mutual aid groups, art therapy, cultural visits, sports, nutrition, oncological aesthetics.

60 beneficiaries among patients, former cancer patients and their caregivers from the Metropolitan City of Milan.

OBJECTIVES

The project WORK IS CARE has the following objectives:

  1. Increasing and strengthening the provision of individualized services, supporting job placement and/or job retention, offering beneficiaries access to personalized information and services and the possibility to better manage their illness and treatment.
  2. Improving the ability to cope with the psychophysical consequences of illness and treatment through shared paths of recreation, diversion and community socialization activities
  3. Promoting the active participation of patients and their families in finding a job or maintaining employment for cancer patients, former cancer patients and their caregivers
