WHAT WE DO

Creation of educational, socialising and guidance activities to foster the inclusion and reactivation of minors and young adults at risk of dropping out of school and social isolation and thus counteract the phenomenon of educational poverty.

FOR WHOM AND WHERE

Families and minors, adolescents and young people, immigrants, people living in poverty, minors and young adults subjected to judicial authorities in the areas of Milan, Trezzano sul Naviglio, Varese and Lecco.

OBJECTIVES

Realised in partnership with: “LIBERA. ASSOCIAZIONI, NOMI E NUMERI CONTRO LE MAFIE APS” (lead partner), Associazione Mamme a scuola ETS, Slums Dunk, AUSER FILO D’ARGENTO DI LECCO, Associazione camminiamo insieme odv, the project aims to combat educational poverty by activating moments of protagonism and awareness among young people on the problems, dynamics and possible synergies and strategies for caring for their own territory.

In particular, the intervention has the following objectives

– Promoting initiatives for the well-being and growth of young people by enhancing the resources and educational actors in the area.

– Promote and disseminate actions to prevent and combat bullying and cyberbullying, also by means of paths to train in the conscious use of digital technologies;

– To disseminate and foster the promotion and development of sport as a tool for promoting wellbeing, aggregation and social growth;

– Promote and disseminate actions to improve opportunities for sociality and active citizenship in order to prevent and combat the phenomena of voluntary social isolation and adolescent/youth discomfort.

– Strengthen the instruments of participation and inclusion of young people strongly affected by the pandemic phase, by directly involving them in non-formal and strongly aggregative activities, in public initiatives that can represent an alternative to the influence of mafias and criminal groups on young people.

Soleterre, through the Work Is Progress programme, promotes the activities of the R-Esistence desk, with study and work orientation paths in favour of the inclusion of young people in a more vulnerable condition.
