For over 15 years, the multidisciplinary team of the Work Is Progress (WIP) program has been promoting the social and professional integration of individuals in situations of occupational vulnerability. Initially launched in Milan, the program has expanded throughout Lombardy and today supports inclusion paths in other regions of Italy, reaching 677 people in the past year alone.
The WIP program was created with a clear objective: it’s not enough to guide people in their job search; it’s essential to build the conditions that allow them to keep their job and grow professionally. For this reason, we adopt a holistic and multidisciplinary approach, aware that work-related difficulties are often intertwined with family, psychological, housing, or legal issues.
How do we do it? Thanks to a specialized team – composed of job counselors, legal advisors, linguistic-cultural mediators, and psychologists – we listen to the needs of individuals and provide integrated support, organizing personalized guidance and development paths. We focus on employability, helping people not only find a job but also develop the necessary skills and personal conditions to maintain it over time.
A key role is played by companies: in 2024, we successfully established around 45 partnerships with local businesses to promote a more equitable, accessible job market that embraces diversity and values the skills of individuals in workforce reintegration programs.
