In the second cycle of IT Bridge, aimed at young people aged 18 to 29 with a migrant background, activities are developed by continuing the socialization visits, which represent a central pillar of the program: after visits to the Civic Aquarium of Milan and the Future Mobility District, the group also took part in a visit to the MUPA – Museum of Patriarchy. These moments are integrated with Italian language study and digital training, within a pathway designed to encourage active and conscious participation among participants.

Engagement in the project has been significant, thanks to an outreach strategy that combines networking with third-sector organizations active in the area and the use of social media to reach young people in their everyday environments. As highlighted by Claudia Fedi, job counselor for Soleterre’s WIP Program, the initiative has managed to go «beyond traditional recruitment methods,» creating more inclusive and widespread access opportunities for young people.

In terms of impact, a process of gradual growth emerges: the structure of the pathway stimulates active participation, enabling participants to develop linguistic and digital skills, strengthen self-confidence, and build meaningful relationships. The integration of technical skills and the relational dimension represents one of the main strengths of the experience.

Claudia emphasizes that ITBridge is not limited to transmitting skills: «It’s not just about conveying knowledge, but about creating a space where interaction becomes a driver of learning.» This inclusive philosophy is reflected in the participants’ experiences: one girl shared how important it was to be able to take part «without focusing on what she lacked,” confirming how the project values individual potential and turns challenges into concrete opportunities for growth.

ITBridge acts as a true multiplier of opportunities: it develops linguistic and digital skills, fosters lasting relationships among participants, and opens new educational and professional pathways. It is a space where young people can challenge themselves, strengthen their self-esteem, and begin to shape their future, supported by a multidisciplinary team that accompanies them according to their needs and aspirations.

As Claudia points out, «the goal is to create a space that enables a dimension of ‘becoming’ possible, where individual aspirations are translated into concrete growth paths.» Ultimately, ITBridge is not a final milestone, but a starting point: a context in which skills, relationships, and confidence intertwine to support tangible pathways of social and professional inclusion.
